MURALS IN PUBLIC SPACES

about.

ABOUT WALLFLOWER ARTS
The seed for Wallflower Arts germinated as a pandemic art project on a pair of aging garage doors, bringing color and life into a public space when many people were confined to private spaces and when neighborhood walks were the only escape. As a physician working through that scary time, Meg found painting a balm, and making public art connected her to neighbors and strangers alike.
Meg traces a throughline from her work to her maternal grandmother, a botanist who wrote and illustrated field guides to the trees and wildflowers of the American West. Meg lives and paints in the San Francisco Bay Area.
